Oatmeal has been a popular staple food for centuries. As a ground powder made from whole oat flakes, instant oats are still an optimal carbohydrate source for nutrition-conscious people and athletes. Due to their low glycemic index, Instant Oats are slowly digested and provide the body with energy over a long period of time.
Whether as an oatmeal, as a supplement of a protein shake, or in combination with nuts and fruit thanks to their good digestibility, instant oats can be used in a variety of ways. Fitness and strength athletes use them, especially after the trainer as a weight gainer in the development phase and in the definition phase. Endurance athletes use them to replenish their glycogen stores before exercise.
With 68g of complex carbohydrates, 14g of protein, and just 7g of healthy fats per serving, the Instant Oats are great for a high-carbohydrate and low-fat diet. With 400kcal and only 0.59g of sugar per 100g, the natural whole oat grain powder is a common part of nutritional plans.
Take as needed one serving of "Instant Oats" (30g) (about 1½ heaped tablespoons) with 300ml of water, milk or protein shake before and after your workout.
