EAA – The Building Material for Body and Muscle Cells

Essential Amino Acids (EAAs) are, as the name implies, essential for the organism. This means they cannot be synthesized by the body itself. However, the body can produce all other important amino acids from the essential ones. Therefore, the supply of EAAs is vital. EAA stands for Essential Amino Acids in English. The EAA group consists of eight amino acids: L-Phenylalanine, L-Tryptophan, L-Threonine, L-Lysine, L-Valine, L-Methionine, L-Leucine, and L-Isoleucine. These eight amino acids are the building material for body and muscle cells. If the body lacks any of these amino acids in sufficient form, muscle-building processes cannot occur. A deficiency of essential amino acids also affects other metabolic processes in the body. Besides their role as a building material, essential amino acids have another important task. They stimulate muscle protein synthesis, thereby activating muscle building. L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine, also known as BCAAs (Branched Chain Amino Acids), are primarily responsible for stimulating protein synthesis. Due to their effect, EAAs are particularly important for bodybuilders, fitness, and strength athletes. Muscle building is possible only if the body has sufficient building materials in the form of EAAs. A deficiency in essential amino acids should be avoided, but it can quickly occur due to frequent and intense training sessions. EAAs can be taken at various times. They can be consumed either in isolation or in combination with other supplements. For example, they can be taken along with a protein shake to further optimize the nutrient balance of the protein. Combining them with simple carbohydrates has also proven effective, as this leads to the amino acids entering the bloodstream even faster. Taking EAAs before, during, and after training is recommended.

IronMaxx offers several EAA products. 100% pure amino acids are available in both tablet and powder form. The 100% Amino Essentials Powder especially impresses with its delicious taste and only 0.1g of sugar per serving.
