- Information on adjusting demand in accordance with s. 14b(5) German Dietary Food Regulations
(“DiätV”): to prevent unnecessary calorie intake the maximum amounts of all micro-nutrients that are stipulated for energy-supplying balanced diets are exceeded. A supplementary balanced diet such as IronMaxx® Immufuel® does not contain any appreciable amount of energy. For this reason, the daily intake for the individual nutrients should refer to the average daily energy requirement of an adult in the amount of 2000 kcal = 8274 kJ (recommendation of the ALS, the working group of food chemistry experts of the German federal states and of the federal office of consumer protection and food safety). Large amounts of free radicals are released on the immune reaction of the body. To protect cells and tissue IronMaxx® Immufuel® contains the antioxidants C and E in an amount that exceeds the upper limits of the German Dietary Food Regulations. In the event of an infection the cells of the immune system must divide frequently and then need particularly large amounts of vitamins B1, B2 and B6 for their metabolism. For this reason, the quantities of these vitamins in IronMaxx® Immufuel® exceed the maximum limits in the German Dietary Food Regulations.
